Rising healthcare premiums for our educators drove up the school budgets that sent your property taxes skyrocketing. Our current representation voted against fixing this problem.

Work to accelerate the supply of homes, stabilizing rents and expanding the property taxpayer pool.
Treat childcare as essential economic infrastructure, ensuring working parents have the support they need to remain in the workforce during periods of federal instability.

Right now, Washington politics and tariffs threaten our border businesses. Federal deportation policies are driving the workforce our dairy farms require to operate even deeper underground. Federal budget cuts endanger local jobs at federal agencies, one of the county's largest employers. We must insulate our economy from this instability.
